We acknowledge the importance of monitoring and addressing disparities in learning outcomes. Here at Terry Fox, this voluntary survey will be completed at home for students in grades 4, 5 and 6. Students in grades 7 and 8 will complete the survey at school.
Parents and caregivers of students in grades 7 and 8 who do not wish their child to participate may opt out by submitting this form by April 3, 2024. Learn more about the survey at ocdsb.ca/studentsurvey
Tree Grant
We are pleased to announce that we will be adding 8 trees to our yard this spring. We applied for a grant and it was awarded. This program is inline with our outdoor classroom development. Councillor Dudas is planning to attend the inauguration at the end of May once the date is determined.
Plans to add a buddy bench to the space and some structural shade are also being considered with the funds from the Kidoodle contest. Stay tuned!

March is Women's Month! Each day on the announcements we take the opportunity to honor some of the incredible contributions of women throughout history, from trailblazers in human rights and addressing societal norms, to leaders in sports and beyond.
