Mural Magic coming to Terry Fox

As part of our wellness plan in the area of belonging, students will soon be voting on a mural that will be painted in the main foyer. The mural is intended to represent our identity, the spirit of Terry Fox and be a welcoming space for all who step into our building.

Safe and Accepting School Committee Meeting- All are Welcome

On January 21st our committee, made up of 8 staff, 3 students and 3 parents, met to establish next steps for this important work.

Through small group discussion and sharing of personal experiences a plan was devised to create interactive experiences for students and families to better understand how to navigate conflict, report incidents and teach resilience and acceptance.

Stay tuned for upcoming presentations, community communication and consider getting involved in this impactful work.

All are welcome to our next meeting on April 22nd at 3:45 in the library.

Families who have been confirmed and registered at the hill may now access the School cash online to pay for their lift ticket. You also have the option to rent equipment. Please complete the payment by Wednesday, February 5th to ensure we have the correct ratios.

No purchase is required if you plan on staying in the chalet to supervise.

Please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher if you have any questions.

Ice Carving Special Guest

This morning a member of our parent community came to Terry Fox to share his ice carving talents with our Grade 4/5 class. He left behind a beautiful heart with TF initials on display outside our front door. The students learned about the tools used for the carving and even got to make some mini sculptures. Thank you for this lovely gift!
